Radiation

This work was born from the feeling of prolonged burnout โ a state in which exhaustion does not stem from a single event, but from daily exposure to the outside world. The figure stands at the center in black and white, serving as a metaphor for the emotional extremes she moves between. Its gaze is fixed, its body carries the weight of exhaustion, and its tears are not only an expression of pain, but also a moment of surrender - a release from the need to be strong all the time. Surrounding it is a vibrant yellow background, a color often associated with light, joy, and life. Yet embedded within it are sharp, threatening forms drawing ever closer. They do not touch the figure, but their constant presence weighs upon it, shaping its emotional landscape. I create from my inner world, and the face is always my starting point. It leads me toward the story that gradually unfolds throughout the creative process - a story I discover as I paint, just as it reveals itself to the viewer. My hope is that everyone who encounters Radiation will recognize a part of themselves within it. That, if only for a moment, they will feel that someone has already given form to an emotion they struggled to express - and that they are not alone.
