Let Go

For me, painting is a way of giving form to emotions that are difficult to express in words. This piece is about the moment when we no longer feel the need to fight everything we are feeling. It reminds me that acceptance is not surrender, but a new beginning - a place where we can rest, breathe, and feel more whole. I create from my inner world, and the face is always my starting point. It leads me toward the story that gradually reveals itself throughout the creative process. Each work is a journey of discovery, unfolding intuitively without knowing in advance where it will lead. In this piece, for the first time, the figure closes her eyes. To me, this is not a gesture of escape, but one of acceptance. After a period of observing, struggling, and searching, she finally allows herself to let go. The closed eyes symbolize trust - in herself, in the path she has traveled, and in the possibility of finding peace even as the world continues to move around her. The background is filled with soft, organic colors that evoke growth, nature, and renewal. In contrast, the figure remains in black and white, but this time the contrast does not represent alienation or pain. Instead, it reflects balance. It is no longer trying to become part of the color around it -i t simply exists within it, peacefully and without resistance. I hope that everyone who looks at this piece will discover a part of themselves within it and, if only for a moment, feel that they are not alone.
