Not From Here

Not From Here was born from a feeling of alienation - the experience of existing in the world while not always feeling that you truly belong to it or are part of it. The figure drifts through a cosmic space, surrounded by stars, with no firm ground beneath her and no clear direction. It is suspended on a journey between worlds, between reality and imagination, between loneliness and hope. I create from my inner world, and the face is always my starting point. It leads me toward the story that gradually reveals itself throughout the creative process. In this piece, the figure embodies feelings of estrangement, sensitivity, and the search for a safe harbor - experiences that many people carry within themselves, even if they are not always visible on the surface. For me, painting is a way of giving form to emotions that are difficult to express with words. Not From Here is not only about the feeling of being an outsider; it is also about the possibility of finding connection through shared experience. My hope is that everyone who looks at this piece will discover a part of themselves within it, and, if only for a moment, feel that they are not alone.
