Aura

In this work, color appears within the figure for the first time. It is still hesitant, concentrated in one eye and in the tears, as though emotion is beginning to emerge after a long period in which everything existed only in black and white. The tears carry two colors - red and blue, like blood and water. They speak of pain, but also of life; of what has been wounded, and of what continues to flow. The black lips resemble a voice worn down by time - words left unspoken, or parts of myself that are still waiting to heal. The background is composed of colorful geometric forms, painted with a simplicity that feels both childlike and mature. For me, it represents the meeting point between the world of the child and the world of the adult - a child who had to grow up too quickly and learn to exist within reality. Around the figure, a halo begins to take shape. It is made of both thorns and light - a boundary that protects without isolating. It symbolizes the moment when protection is no longer just a wall, but also the possibility of remaining sensitive in a world that is not always gentle. I create from my inner world, and the face is always my starting point. It leads me toward a story that gradually reveals itself throughout the creative process. I hope that everyone who encounters this work can recognize a part of themselves within it and, if only for a moment, feel that they are not alone.
