A Sign of Life

This work explores the desire to be seen in a world overwhelmed by noise, information, and constant stimulation. The background is constructed from a collage of newspapers, imagery, and fragments of reality - layers of events, headlines, and voices accumulating upon one another until the individual is almost consumed by them. For the first time, I chose to paint the contours of the face in vivid colors. To me, they symbolize the desire to bring light even from within the darkness - to remain present, not to disappear into the overload, but to ask to be truly seen. The face remains the focal point of the work. It is the place where the inner world and the external world meet. The gaze, the colors, and the lines do not conceal vulnerability; instead, they allow it to exist openly. This is not a cry for attention, but a sign of life - a quiet request for recognition, closeness, and support, and a willingness to stop hiding. I create from my inner world, and the face is always my starting point. It leads me toward a story that gradually reveals itself throughout the creative process. I hope that everyone who encounters this work can recognize a part of themselves within it and, if only for a moment, feel that they are not alone.
