Infinity
Infinity explores continuous movement through fine, looping gestures that cross, disappear and return across the raw canvas. Layers of burgundy, dusty pink, lavender, black and white create a delicate tension between spontaneity and control. Beyond the movement, the work reflects on continuity itself: what repeats, what returns, and what carries on beyond what we can see. With no clear beginning or end, the lines seem to extend beyond the edges of the canvas, suggesting a gesture that could continue indefinitely.

Muriel Elmaleh
Muriel Elmaleh is a contemporary artist whose practice is rooted in expressive abstraction and intuitive, gesture-driven painting. Working with acrylic on canvas, she translates emotion into movement through layered marks, drips, and sweeping gestures, creating compositions driven by rhythm, tension, and physical energy. Beyond abstraction, some of Elmaleh’s figurative works draw from personal memory and her childhood in Ivory Coast, exploring themes of motherhood, resilience, and cultural heritage. Self-taught and instinct-driven, Elmaleh approaches painting as an intuitive and physical act. Her process moves between spontaneity and control, allowing movement to guide the composition.
