Nocturne III

Red expands—no longer contained. It surrounds, presses, saturates the surface, leaving only a narrow band of light between weight and depth. Above, darkness settles heavily. Below, warmth thickens, almost to excess. Nothing opens here. Everything holds. Inspired by abstract expressionism and the work of Mark Rothko, the composition moves toward saturation—where color no longer contrasts, but encloses.
