Dana Appel
About
Dana is an Israeli artist and painter, born in 1996. She holds a BFA in Screen-Based Arts from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. She has been working with oil paints for over 15 years, alongside explorations in animation, illustration, and other mediums. Her artistic practice is guided by intuition, emerging from internal imagery, curiosity, and instinct. Her paintings exist in the space between reality and imagination, nature and dreams, exploring themes of femininity, spirituality, and the subconscious. Through oil painting, she creates soft, dreamlike worlds that balance the familiar with the mysterious.
