Red Figure, Open Sky
A red-orange nude figure stands in profile against an expansive blue sky, her dark hair streaming across banks of pink-lit cloud. Oil on canvas allows softly blended atmospheric passages to meet firmer, shadowed modeling across the body, sharpening the warm-cool contrast. The open composition carries a sense of freedom, resolve, and dreamlike calm.
