Reflections At Dusk

Semi-constrained Lichtenberg figures on scavenged and upcycled wood, textile pigment dyed, fractal-edged and finished in matt varnish. A striking engraved work on wood, this piece transforms a branching fissure into a poetic landscape-like presence. Rich orange, yellow and green-gray fields meet in a vertical composition where scorched, vein-like lines create both movement and stillness, revealing the tactile beauty of the material and the artistโs sensitive control of surface and depth. Like โLonely Treeโ, reflections are a recurring theme for emotional, technical and aesthetic reasons. This one is an exploration of wind, affected by grain-diagonal framing. The piece was loaned to the Nola Socks pub in Haifa, where it choked on alcohol fumes and smoke for years as It achieved its degree in construction engineering from the Technion, couldn't find a job as one, and kept on busing tables well into her 30's.
