Goddess

Shimrit Paltin Gur (Antwoman)

$936

This image is a still from Goddess, one of four video works that make up Endless Echoes - a dynamic artwork that changes throughout the day. The blockchain, which serves as the project’s technological infrastructure, enables continuous transformation, turning the artwork into a living, breathing exploration of the fluidity and constant change inherent in existence. Each work stands on its own, yet together they are connected by a common thread: the shifting, unpredictable, and continuously unfolding nature of reality. In Goddess, absence becomes a point of departure. The work is based on a photograph of a statue of a Greek goddess at an archaeological site in Athens. From the stillness, fragments of the image emerge, drifting, unresolved. Time and meaning intermingle. Death, birth, humanity, and divinity, like chaos within the matrix. Created in 2024, during the war and the struggle for the return of the hostages, the work explores the tension between beauty and loss, joy and sorrow, clarity and concealment. It asks us to linger precisely where meaning remains incomplete and ambiguous. View the original dynamic artwork: https://www.transient.xyz/nfts/base/0xebee7ba99b278b9995ee9b2a054569d47556a071/1

Shimrit Paltin Gur (Antwoman)

I’m Shimrit (Antwoman), a digital and interdisciplinary artist working across a wide range of media, with a particular focus on motion art, animation, interactive art, and dynamic NFTs. My work has been exhibited at events and exhibitions around the world. I hold a BA in Art and Digital Media and an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Tel Aviv University. My creative process is driven not only by a passion for making art, but also by an interest in how art communicates. I am drawn to connections - between people, nature, technology, and ideas, while continually seeking to challenge conventional hierarchies and boundaries. In this sense, my art becomes a kind of bridge-builder, instinctively bringing opposites together to form something new. I like to think of my practice as a philosophy of transformation: one that invites contemplation and enjoyment while questioning the status quo. Since 2021, I have been an active participant in the blockchain art scene. I am particularly drawn to the possibilities of blockchain technology as a new artistic medium. Through my work, I explore the relationship between art and technology, using blockchain to create dynamic and interactive artworks.
