Crosscurrents in Color

Lea Nagler

$1,003

Broad passages of teal, blue, crimson, pink, and yellow overlap across a dense abstract composition, punctuated by dark angular forms. Layered acrylic, scraped ridges, and forceful gestural marks give the canvas a tactile, shifting surface. Its vivid contrasts and restless movement create an energetic presence suited to a living room, dining area, or creative office.

Lea Nagler

Lea Nagler was born and raised in Hadera and currently lives in Holon. Her paintings explore the space between abstraction and representation, influenced by Abstract Expressionism. Nagler is a self-taught artist who has been painting for over twenty years. Her works are colorful and expressive, created primarily in mixed media and oil. In her paintings, she builds layers that alternately conceal and reveal. Her works become emotional maps, moving between what is visible and what remains hidden. Among the artists who have influenced her work are Willem de Kooning, Lea Nikel, and Helen Frankenthaler.
