Lea Nagler

$1,171

Layered fields of gray, turquoise, gold, green, and red collide across a dense vertical composition, punctuated by dark drips and scored linear marks. Acrylic paint on canvas is built through scraping, broad gestures, splatters, and raised passages that create a tactile, weathered surface. Its energetic rhythm and shifting color zones form a strong focal point for a living room or office.

Lea Nagler

Lea Nagler was born and raised in Hadera and currently lives in Holon. Her paintings explore the space between abstraction and representation, influenced by Abstract Expressionism. Nagler is a self-taught artist who has been painting for over twenty years. Her works are colorful and expressive, created primarily in mixed media and oil. In her paintings, she builds layers that alternately conceal and reveal. Her works become emotional maps, moving between what is visible and what remains hidden. Among the artists who have influenced her work are Willem de Kooning, Lea Nikel, and Helen Frankenthaler.
