Lea Nagler

$776

Dense fields of navy, teal, pink, yellow, and gray collide across this abstract composition, punctuated by small flashes of crimson. Thick acrylic is layered, dragged, and scraped across the canvas, forming ridges and gestural passages with a tactile impasto surface. Its balance of dark weight and pale color creates concentrated energy for a living room, dining area, or office.

Lea Nagler

Lea Nagler was born and raised in Hadera and currently lives in Holon. Her paintings explore the space between abstraction and representation, influenced by Abstract Expressionism. Nagler is a self-taught artist who has been painting for over twenty years. Her works are colorful and expressive, created primarily in mixed media and oil. In her paintings, she builds layers that alternately conceal and reveal. Her works become emotional maps, moving between what is visible and what remains hidden. Among the artists who have influenced her work are Willem de Kooning, Lea Nikel, and Helen Frankenthaler.
