The Shack
A black-and-white seated figure is set into a tall, irregular wooden structure, creating a striking dialogue between image and object. The mixed media collage uses the grain, knots, and tapering lines of the wood as an active compositional element, giving the work depth and a tactile, constructed presence. The result is contemplative and slightly theatrical, well suited to an entryway, study, or layered contemporary interior.

Orlovsky Yarden
Yarden Orlovsky is an actress, voice artist, and cultural institution manager. She began creating collages during sleepless nights in wartime, between air-raid sirens, out of a need to find quiet and focus amid a period of uncertainty. All of her works are created from old, dismantled books found abandoned on the street, driven by a desire to work specifically with what already existed and was on the verge of disappearing. Through cutting and reassembling, she gives these materials a new life, creating works centered around figures that move between reality and imagination, connecting the forgotten with the new.
