The Long Pass
Two motorcyclists wind along a gravel road through one of the high mountain passes of Ladakh, in the Indian Himalaya, dwarfed by the scale of the peaks around them. Converting the frame to black and white stripped the scene to its essentials: light, texture, and the sheer verticality of the terrain, echoing the feeling of insignificance and freedom that defines riding through this landscape.

My journey in photography began about ten years ago, during a six-month journey through India and Nepal. Since then, it has become a continuous process of exploration, growth, and learning. As a software engineer, my artistic approach combines a sense of order, structure, and technical precision with curiosity, freedom, and emotion. Through my work, I photograph people, fleeting moments on the street, cultures, and landscapes- things that spark my curiosity or simply make me stop, observe, compose, and capture. I then transform that raw moment into a finished work.
