Downward Dog
Photographed high on the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, along the trail to Ice Lake, a shaggy black dog stretches into a playful bow on a sun-warmed rock, its tail curled high, with the vast snow-covered peaks of the Himalaya rising soft and hazy behind it. The moment was fleeting and unposed: a burst of everyday joy set against one of the most dramatic backdrops on earth, and the scale contrast between the small, animated creature and the enormous mountains is what makes the frame work for me.

Amoss Dvir
My journey in photography began about ten years ago, during a six-month journey through India and Nepal. Since then, it has become a continuous process of exploration, growth, and learning. As a software engineer, my artistic approach combines a sense of order, structure, and technical precision with curiosity, freedom, and emotion. Through my work, I photograph people, fleeting moments on the street, cultures, and landscapes- things that spark my curiosity or simply make me stop, observe, compose, and capture. I then transform that raw moment into a finished work.
