A pink lotus and scattered petals drift across a dark green pond, interrupted by a fallen branch and shimmering bands of reflected light. It was not a famous landscape or a tourist attraction, but a peaceful corner where everything felt perfectly balanced. A fallen branch resting in the water, a single flower floating on the surface, and light reflected across the water. Sometimes, it is the simplest moments that remain with us the longest.
