A Touch of Culture

A nude female figure rises from a pedestal before dense greenery and a pale fence, set within a garden-like scene washed in pink light. Oil on canvas allows the forms to soften into one another through layered brushwork and hazy transitions, balancing the figure’s glow against mossy greens and lilac shadows. The result is intimate, atmospheric, and quietly theatrical. The sculpture represents the roots of art: craftsmanship, tradition, and the time invested in the creative process. The fire is not necessarily a symbol of destruction, but rather of transformation. In a time when technology is changing the way we create and experience art, I find myself asking what will remain of the world we grew up with. This work does not attempt to answer that question, but rather to raise it.
