Dude number 2 Ceramic, glaze The figure exists between figuration and abstraction, as if composed of states, memories, and shifting identities. Faces looking in different directions create a sense of multiple perspectives — an attempt to see the past, the present, and something beyond time all at once. The arms resemble either sails or wings, turning the figure into a being of movement and inner journey. The work reflects on the changing nature of human experience, on fragility and at the same time the endurance of the inner world. The glazed surface emphasizes traces of touch and the living texture of the material, while the elongated form creates a feeling of silence, anticipation, and an almost timeless presence.
