The fisherman from the north coast lives in a harsh, cold, alienated world. I was supposed to draw a character who carries with him cold, wind, and a life of daily work against the forces of nature, but the fisherman I met in Iceland was the opposite of that, so I drew him in warm colors... smiling - as he is.
