About
I’m an interior designer and artist based in Tel Aviv, originally from Russia, and moved to Israel at the age of six. I hold a B.A. in Interior Design from the Holon Institute of Technology (2013–2017). My work combines interior design with furniture restoration and mural art (www.yuligossis.com ). As an artist, I paint intuitively, following color, movement, and feeling rather than planning everything. Art has taught me to let go - the canvas shows that when I release control, my hand moves freely and the process unfolds naturally. Each painting starts as a quiet, meditative moment. I notice my thoughts and feelings and translate them onto the canvas. My techniques are varied - from classic brushwork to paint pouring, dripping, palette knives, and even everyday tools like squeegees or hair dryers. I also include plastic pieces for reuse, giving them a second life in the artwork. My abstract pieces capture emotion in motion, often changing from start to finish. The feelings are expressed in the colors on the canvas.
