Sasha Melnik

Sasha Melnik is a self-taught artist working in painting and graphic art. She lives and works in Israel. After earning a master’s degree in graphic design and spending more than ten years working as a designer, Sasha shifted her focus to fine art and the development of her own artistic practice. Nature serves as the main source of inspiration for the artist — trees, light, vegetation, changing landscapes, and the atmosphere of a place. In her work, observed reality merges with inner emotion and an intuitive perception of the moment. Alongside natural motifs, Sasha is also drawn to urban landscapes and architectural fragments. Her paintings combine careful observation, intuitive painting, and expressive texture. Plein air painting holds a special place in her practice, allowing her to capture the shifting qualities of light, color, and the emotional presence of the environment. Sasha Melnik has participated in art fairs and group exhibitions while continuing to develop her own visual language through ongoing practice and the exploration of the relationship between human experience and surrounding space.
