Revital Turiski
About
Revital Turiski is a graduate of The Midrasha School of Art and pursued advanced studies in drawing and Beaux-Arts techniques in Paris. She currently combines her artistic practice with her work as an art therapist (M.A.) and lives in Ramat Hasharon, Israel. Her work explores the intersection of memory, materiality, and imagery. She primarily works with oil paints and mixed media on canvas and plywood, incorporating textiles, stitching, and additional materials that become an integral part of her visual language. The imagery in her works emerges from the domestic sphere, everyday life, childhood, and the subconscious. These elements intertwine to create rich visual spaces that move between density and restraint, order and fragmentation, the familiar and the dreamlike. Within the square format, material and image engage in an ongoing dialogue, where the boundaries between interior and exterior, memory and reality, and the personal and the universal gradually dissolve.
