Pesya (Pesto) Neploch

Pessia P. Nifloch (b. 2008) is a young visual artist who creates from a place of profound sensitivity and a unique connection to her environment. As a creator who experiences and feels the world with great intensity, art serves as both a language and a sanctuary for her—an indispensable mode of expression. At the age of eight, Pessia began painting regularly. Since then, the canvas has become the primary channel through which she communicates her messages to the world. Her life has been defined by dynamism and constant motion; she has moved through seven different apartments across various cities and attended five schools, navigating both the state and state-religious education systems. Amidst a reality of frequent transitions, where forming stable social bonds was often a challenge, painting became her unchanging anchor. Art was—and remains—the "safe," stable, and absolute space where she discovered her voice. In 2023, following her move to the city of Petah Tikva, Pessia began to deepen her professional training under the guidance of artist and teacher Anastasia Tarasova. Under Tarasova’s mentorship, she continues to develop and refine her unique style and technical capabilities to this day. For Pessia, art is not merely a creative medium but a way of life, a great love, and an existential purpose. Her works seek to translate complex life experiences and deep human sensitivity into a living, breathing visual language, inviting the viewer into an evocative emotional dialogue.
