About

The artist has been working in recent years from photographs, using them as a source for images that are translated onto canvas and paper. In earlier periods, he worked primarily from direct observation of nature and live models, an approach that laid the foundation for his artistic language and sensitivity to form, light, and human presence. The subjects of his works are drawn from everyday life, captured through photographs that he carefully selects and revisits. What matters most to him is the personal connection to the subject โ€” an image that speaks to him and evokes an inner response. Through painting, he gives these images a personal and emotional interpretation, hoping they will also resonate with the viewer. The artist studied painting for four years under Jan Rauchwerger, an experience that significantly influenced his artistic development and deepened his engagement with figurative painting and the practice of observation.
