Diana Shafer Weinberg
About
Diana Shafer Weinberg is an Israeli photographer specializing in fine art portraiture. Since 2018, she has been working professionally in photography, with her love for art shaping and inspiring her creative journey. Driven by a desire to bridge the worlds of photography and painting, in recent years she has been exploring the Pep Ventosa technique. A technique in which the subject is photographed from multiple angles and the images are blended into a single work, resulting in a painterly effect. Alongside her artistic practice, for the past four years Diana has been teaching photography and editing courses at the Galitz School of Photography, today Studio 6B. Her works have been exhibited in two group exhibitions at the Beit Arya Klang in Ashdod: Reflections (2021) and Breaking the Frame (2019). Her photographs have also been featured and recognized in international projects and competitions, including Baby Photo Awards, Shine Photo Award, WPE, and Shutter Up Magazine
