Darío Zilbersztein Architect, Visual Artist & Cultural Manager Buenos Aires, Argentina | 1965 An architect graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (1992), Darío Zilbersztein has developed a self-taught artistic practice for over three decades, marked by a strong surrealist influence. His work spans drawing, painting, sculpture, and urban art. He is the founder and director of Gusta Tu Gusto, an independent art space, and former director of Arteme, a gallery project initiated by Carlos Regazzoni to promote emerging artists. On the international stage, he co-founded Extranjería, a traveling platform developed with artist Max Araujo, which promotes Latin American artists in cities such as Madrid, New York, Miami, Berlin, Rome and London. Deeply committed to art as a tool for social transformation, Zilbersztein has participated as both curator and exhibitor in various solidarity-driven projects. His work has been exhibited in venues such as the Palacio Sarmiento, Palacio Libertad (Ex CCK), Metropolitan Museum of Urban Art (Córdoba), Centro Cultural Borges, National Railway Museum, MACAB, UCES, UNGS, University of Buenos Aires Law School, UBA School of Architecture, UNLaM, Vicente López City Council, Paseo de las Artes Pedro de Mendoza, Norcenter, among others. Today, his works are part of private collections in Argentina, Europe, and the Americas, and have been selected in national and international art competitions
