Ayala Shmueli

Ayala Shmueli, born in 1985, is an artist with a B.Design from Holon Institute of Technology (HIT). Her works are an evolutionary journey that began with an exploration of synesthesia, the blending of senses. With an intimate investigation of sensory receptors in the human body and then into the world of plants, specifically the cactus, which underwent a process of abstraction. Her art delves into the deconstruction and reassembly of organic forms, a kind of re-engineering. The result is a formal structure that breaks the rules of logic, creating connections and movements that exist only on paper. Primary Techniques: Acrylic, pencil, and charcoal on cotton paper. She has participated in group exhibitions and had a solo exhibition at the Artists’ House in Tel Aviv
