Aviel Shapira

Aviel Shapira, born in Israel, is a graduate of the Department of Visual Communication at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. He interned with the artists Friedel Stern, Shirley Factor, and Zvi Tolkovsky. In addition, Aviel Shapira is the owner and designer of the Shapira-Waxman company, which specializes in the design and production of international exhibitions and has won numerous awards at exhibitions abroad. At the beginning of his career, Aviel exhibited in a group show at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, and later in the Lotan and Chen Winkler galleries in Old Jaffa, as well as at the museum in Ein Hod. His paintings are characterized by a combination of acrylic, oil, and pencil. They feature imagery of strength, resilience, and balance.
