₪2,500

Portrait of Ben Gurion, dense fields of black, white, teal, pink, and yellow overlap with fragmented letters, gridded patterns, and abrupt graphic marks. Layered acrylic passages shift between thick, tactile applications and sharper stenciled details, allowing forms to surface and disappear across the canvas. The result is energetic and urban, bringing a strong visual rhythm to a living room, office, or dining area.

Jack Vainunska

Jacques Vainunska was born in Lille, France, in 1948 and moved to Israel in 1971. A self-taught painter and photographer, he has exhibited extensively in Israel and internationally. His earlier works explored urban landscapes, contrasting historic neighborhoods with monumental modern architecture. Over time, his practice evolved toward a more layered and contemporary visual language, combining portraiture, abstraction, typography, musical notation and symbolic imagery. His work draws on music, literature, Jewish and Israeli culture, memory and historical figures. Working mainly in acrylic, Vainunska builds his paintings through layering, revision and intuitive discovery. The result is a distinctive body of work in which figurative imagery, abstraction and graphic elements merge into a highly recognizable style.
