Two anthropomorphic, long-beaked figures lean toward one another in an animated exchange, their looping black limbs and wide eyes heightening the comic tension. Three-dimensional paper sculpting creates a richly worked surface, while pockets, buttons, and tiny accessories reward close viewing. Who says art has to be so serious? It all started when I spotted a small sculpture with a price tag that made my jaw drop. I decided to try making one myself—and my imagination took over from there. Today, I handcraft papier-mâché sculptures of the colorful characters that make life interesting: relatable professionals in hilarious moments, quirky animals, and figures caught mid-dilemma. Inspired by caricatures and everyday life, each 100% unique piece is packed with humor, warmth, and personality—designed to bring a big smile to your face, just as it does for me while making it.
