The Well-Equipped Hiker -Overpacked but Ready
A whimsical hiker stands beneath a broad hat, carrying a blue backpack packed with a rolled mat, footwear, and walking gear. Modeled in paper mâché, the figure combines an irregular hand-shaped surface with carefully articulated straps, pockets, clothing, and facial features. Saturated yellow, green, blue, and red give the sculpture a lively folk character suited to a living room, office, or entryway.

Who says art has to be so serious? It all started when I spotted a small sculpture with a price tag that made my jaw drop. I decided to try making one myself—and my imagination took over from there. Today, I handcraft papier-mâché sculptures of the colorful characters that make life interesting: relatable professionals in hilarious moments, quirky animals, and figures caught mid-dilemma. Inspired by caricatures and everyday life, each 100% unique piece is packed with humor, warmth, and personality—designed to bring a big smile to your face, just as it does for me while making it.
