Two overlapping strawberries come together to form a heart- a powerful symbol of love, partnership, and romance. Each strawberry is composed of stickers featuring hearts and messages of love and relationships, evoking the iconic pairing of strawberries and champagne. The overlap between the two strawberries expresses unity and mutual fulfillment. The vivid red background reinforces the connection to both the fruit and the symbol of love. Repeated across it, the English letter “U” serves as a subtle visual reference to the word United and the idea of togetherness. The work brings warmth and visual activity to a living room, entryway, or creative office.

By training, I am a textile designer, and over the years I have worked in Israel’s textile industry. Today, I am an active visual artist, living and working along the fine line or perhaps the broad seam between art and design. My practice involves a mixed-media technique combining acrylic painting with the application of stickers and a variety of other materials. The visual language I have developed reflects key aspects of my personality: patience, precision, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of harmony and aesthetics. I carefully arrange the stickers as if they were precious gemstones, each one contributing to an elaborate piece of jewelry. The process is labor-intensive and requires exceptional fine motor skills, often involving the delicate use of tweezers. The stickers and additional materials I incorporate vary from one work to another, serving the story each piece seeks to tell. Every artwork is one of a kind unique and unrepeatable. My work explores my identity as a designer, focusing primarily on textiles, fashion, the intersection of fashion and music, and femininity. Like many of us, I live with the daily tension and stress, and seek a way to momentarily shift my thoughts away from everyday worries and immerse myself in a colorful world, rich with positive associations. A world that brings a smile to the viewer’s face, while also offering a bold statement or a playful wink. I believe that paying attention to the smallest details draws the viewer into the story, reveals additional layers of meaning, and invites personal reflection or social dialogue. In this way, the artwork becomes more than an object hanging on a wall; it becomes an active part of its surroundings, sparking thought, emotion, and curiosity.
