Sleeping queen
I though about the old painting of the lords and princesses but she fell asleep when they painted her

Lee Bondi Pinto
im lee, a 26-year-old self-taught visual artist who has been creating for as long as I can remember. For me, art is a direct emotional language—a way to translate onto the canvas what words often fail to capture. My primary medium is oil painting, alongside my work as a tattoo artist and mosaic maker. Each discipline offers a distinct channel for exploring imagery, texture, and physical form. My work focuses on human figures and the interplay of profound contrasts. On one hand, my vibrant and optimistic color palette radiates calm and serenity; on the other, I explore "invisible illnesses." Through my practice, I navigate the ironies of life, touching upon anxiety, depression, and PTSD, inviting the viewer to look beneath the colorful surface. The techniques I have refined over years of intuitive exploration allow me to create pieces that are simultaneously joyful and somber—accessible, yet deeply soul-penetrating.
