Path Through the Hills

Path Through the Hills

Hadas Feigin

$339

A winding path draws the eye through layered hills toward a distant cluster of pale, red-roofed buildings beneath a clouded sky. Loose oil brushwork, textured highlights, and small floral touches animate the canvas while preserving the landscape’s muted natural palette. The receding route creates quiet depth and a reflective mood suited to a study, bedroom, or intimate hallway.

I dreamed of being an artist from a young age, but I only began painting at 47, after immigrating to Israel. I studied art at Margarita Levin’s private studio for ten years. In 2008, I joined the Rehovot Artists' Association. Since then, I have participated in exhibitions around the world, including a group exhibition in England in 2009 and an exhibition at the Louvre Museum in Paris in 2011. I have also exhibited in Israel—in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ramat Gan, Rehovot, and Jerusalem. Recently, I have been increasingly drawn to intuitive painting, as it allows me to express my emotions and impressions more fully.
