Bodies Above the City
Elongated nude figures appear suspended among angular buildings, sloping beams and vivid blocks of urban color, with a small cat anchoring the lower corner. Layered acrylic, visible canvas grain and dark linear contours create a lively, tactile rhythm. Saturated teal, orange, blue and red give the composition an energetic presence suited to a living room, dining area or creative workspace.
Aran Carmeli
Aran has been painting for about five years, and now feels it's time to share his artwork with the world, and perhaps even part with some of his creations (which, by his own admission, isn't easy). With a background in photography and television, Aran is a professional video editor and still photographer. His paintings move between realism and fantasy, exploring his personal world. He loves vibrant colors and constantly challenges himself to bring something new to each painting. An avid cat lover, Aran is fascinated by the relationship between cats and humans, and they feature prominently in many of his works. He works with acrylic paint on canvas and wood. All his paintings are framed, either in deep-profile frames or repurposed vintage window frames. Frame colors can be customized upon request.
