This work merges an iconic image from art history with a contemporary portrait. Botticelli's Birth of Venus dissolves into the face of a modern woman, creating a new identity that belongs fully to neither. The piece explores the tension between the classical ideal of beauty and the fluid nature of personal identity. Through layers, transparency, and texture, it blurs the boundaries between past and present, perfection and fracture, inviting the viewer to question what remains when the idealized image begins to fade.

It was later in life that I discovered the world of photography—a discovery that opened up a whole new realm of magic, inspiration, and boundless creativity. Today, I have been practicing photography and digital art for about 15 years For me, photography is a visual language used to explore memory, time, and the core of the human experience.
