TOUCHED THE SKY

Original mixed media oil painting on canvas, This is a large painting. I had a strong desire to paint a large ballerina out of a classic vintage music box, standing in the middle of a lake. I don't know why this particular image came to mind and why it is so powerful for me. Maybe because of the idea that she is not trapped inside a glass bubble but is free, outside, in nature, touching the sky. I think that's the magic – anyone can look at the picture and feel something, connect with it from a different perspective.
