Original mixed media oil painting on canvas, When I was a little girl, we had a book that I really loved, "Thumbelina", Translated, adapted and illustrated by the great writer and illustrator Nurit Yuval. On one of the pages was a beautiful swallow. My sister and I especially liked this page. For long minutes we watched the beautiful swallow, with Thumbelina sitting on its back, fly over the village, saving Thumbelina from the boring underground life that the rat had destined for her. 34 years later, this swallow still exists in my heart, And it gave me the inspiration to paint freedom in the form of a large swallow in a world of magic and love.
