The last wave

In this work, the sea is more than a landscape—it is a space of movement and memory. The waves approach the shore one after another, yet one seems suspended in time: the last wave. It symbolizes the moment when something comes to an end, just before the sea retreats and makes way for a new beginning. The warm sky, painted in shades of orange and earth, meets the cool blues of the sea, creating a delicate tension between serenity and power, between farewell and hope. The rich, textured brushstrokes give the waves a sense of life and motion, as if they continue to move beyond the boundaries of the canvas. The Last Wave invites the viewer to pause and reflect on those moments in life when one ending quietly becomes the beginning of a new journey—a fleeting moment that lingers in memory long after the wave has reached the shore
