The Florentine light

"Florence is a prayer carved in marble and stone, a city where time stands still on the banks of the Arno River, shimmering in the gold of sunset. Its narrow alleys still echo the footsteps of artists and dreamers, while the red dome of the Duomo commands the skyline like a crown of eternal beauty. Here, every statue breathes history, and every window opens to a view that looks like an oil painting yet to dry. I have been fortunate enough to spend several months there on multiple occasions, immersing myself in painting and sculpture. And I will surely return."
