The Eye of the Storm

When everything feels turbulent around me, I find a quiet point within myself and do my best to remain there. There is a place where I don't have to be swept away by the storms that life brings. This piece was created at a time when I decided to leave the security of a stable job. It felt as though the ground had disappeared beneath my feet, I had to learn how to cultivate that inner place of stillness—the eye of the storm within me. Choosing presence over reaction, and observation over drama.
