Sorrow

This painting is part of my Death of Truth trilogy. Here, an angel mourns the passing of truth. Radiant flowers surround him in a desperate attempt to open humanity’s eyes. Yet the light they offer is too local, too faint, and even his noble efforts dissipate into the darkness.
