
Red Through Walls
A stark white modernist building rises between dark trees and a turbulent sky, pierced by oversized red forms that pass through its openings and roofline. Ink on aluminium keeps the architectural edges crisp and the shadows saturated, while the collage construction creates abrupt, surreal shifts in scale. The result is dramatic and enigmatic, with a strong presence suited to a living room or office.

As an artist and an architect or vice versa, the works presented here exist between the languages of different media, in a reality between tangential worlds. The practice focuses on the essence of the elusive line that separates art and design, where the works also exist. The technique is simple and does not use Photoshop or artificial intelligence - spontaneous photography of fleeting moments and artistic photography of stationary objects. Cutting out elements of reality captured in photography and re-gluing them in a different fictitious order that challenges the credibility of visual perception. Exquisite concrete bowls and plates, produced separately and simultaneously, serve as actors in a fictional scene.…
