A series from the early 2000s inspired by an imagined Paris of the Impressionist era — a world before wars and revolutions. The artist places herself in the Montmartre and Montparnasse of the early 20th century: among gardens, studios, quiet interiors, and soft afternoon light. Portraits and interiors are united by the atmosphere of a time the artist never lived in, yet felt deeply connected to. Light, air, the springtime of life, and the fleeting beauty of the moment.
