Love

This work captures a relationship defined by a stark lack of equity: one partner white, one Black; one free, one confined. They appear to be in a freefall, barely clinging to the stone beneath them. Yet, despite the weight of it all, they are together—weathering this moment of crisis as one, descending toward a bottom that remains unknown to us, the viewers.
