Kitty Rider
A helmeted rider lifts a long-bodied cat at arm’s length, rendered in crisp black line against an open white ground. Dense crosshatching and bold areas of dark build the jacket, helmet, and fur with striking graphic control, giving the mixed media work on paper a dry, tactile surface. The result is playful, slightly surreal, and sharply contemporary.

The absence of colors allows to focus on the figure, the technique, the visibility of the various textures, and the details of the scene I created.
