In the Jade Eye
A large central orb anchors the composition while smaller dark and green circles drift around it across a pale ground. Layered oil brushwork creates soft transitions, halo-like edges, and subtle surface depth, giving the painting a quiet, contemplative rhythm with a distinctly contemporary feel.

Niza Winter
Born in Israel, the daughter of kibbutz founders, I grew up from an early age in Haderaโthe city where my life has unfolded, except for periods of academic study and a Zionist mission abroad. I specialized in the social sciences: psychology, sociology, and anthropology. Over the years, I taught, mentored, facilitated, and managed in these fields. I remain deeply fascinated by the complexity and dynamics of the human psyche, society, and culture. I feel a strong connection to the nature and landscapes of Israel, much like fellow "Sabras" of classic, beautiful Israel. As a child, I loved to draw and paint. Later in life, as professional responsibilities lightened, I enthusiastically returned to painting. For over a decade now, I have been working primarily in oil paints, continuing to evolve and study under accomplished and renowned artists.
