Golden Swarm
Small ant-like forms scatter across a luminous field of ochre, gold, and smoky brown, crossed by pale vertical bands and dense textured passages below. Layers of oil paint create a varied surface, moving from scraped and translucent areas to heavier, earth-toned buildup. The result feels active yet contemplative, balancing organic detail with a spacious abstract composition.

Geula Galili
Geula Galili 1945: Born in Kibbutz Kfar Giladi. 1966: Married and moved to Kibbutz Ayelet HaShahar. 1975: Completed her degree as an art teacher at Oranim College. Taught art for 25 years at the "Emek HaHula" regional school. "Creation for me is like air to breathe. I choose a subject into which I dive and take flight on canvas, using oil paints. Creation gives me purpose and meaning, and through it, I learn the secrets of life. All my life I have lived in the Galilee. The nature around me always awakens in me a passion to create; my land, my people, my homeland, the Bible, and the Kabbalah are the themes that occupy me all the days of my life."
